Veterans Hunting in Honor of the Fallen

Our Mission

Our Mission

Every season, a blind sits empty.

Empty Blind Veterans Hunting Foundation provides guided hunts in Virginia for veterans, free of charge, to honor the fallen and bring veterans together.

The freedom to walk into the woods before dawn, to sit in a blind and wait for first light, exists because of those who gave their lives. They can't take part in it. We hunt in their honor, and in every season we remember the empty blind kept for those who didn't make it home.

“This activity is only possible because of those who can’t partake in it.”

Annual Memorial Event

The Last Light Hunt

“Last light” marks the end of legal shooting time, the moment the day's hunt is done. For us, it is also a quiet tribute to the fallen.

Each year, the Last Light Hunt brings veterans together in the field to remember those we lost. Date and details will be announced.
